On October 19, 2025, Kirirom Institute of Technology hosted a special event to celebrate the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Zion International School of Phnom Penh. This strategic alliance between KIT and ZISPP is established to expand and elevate the educational opportunities available to all students in Cambodia. The cornerstone of the collaboration is imparting cutting-edge technological expertise, thereby empowering students to become future leaders who make significant positive contributions to the community.
The collaboration between KIT and ZISPP is designed to create a relationship that is mutually supportive and directly promotes academic progression from the international school to the university. A key objective is to increase awareness of the available higher education opportunities among ZISPP’s student body and its parent community. This initiative also focuses on providing ZISPP students with valuable access to university-level experiences and mentorship. Furthermore, the MoU seeks to actively encourage excellence in STEM and entrepreneurship through a series of collaborative activities.

This Memorandum of Understanding holds immense potential for the students of both institutions, particularly those at ZISPP. Under the terms of the agreement, ZISPP students will be granted priority access to some of KIT's most popular and career-shaping programs, including its KIT Code Camp, Innovation Bootcamps, and Summer Tech Programs. Moreover, select ZISPP students may be invited to participate in advanced activities hosted at KIT, such as student competitions, hackathons, and innovation showcases. This hands-on involvement will provide them with unparalleled exposure and practical experience in a university setting.
The collaborative spirit of this event underscores the commitment of both KIT and ZISPP to exchanging programs, enhancing career development, and engaging in promotional efforts, all of which are essential steps toward increasing and diversifying higher education opportunities for the next generation of innovators and leaders.
