Sustainability. Collaboration. Innovation.

The International Seminar of DesPar UKSW 2023: A Path to Sustainable Destinations organized a webinar with the joint efforts of Kirirom Institute of Technology (KIT) and Universiti Kualar Lumpur, Malaysia (UniKL). The event aims to explore and discuss sustainable destinations, focusing on the path towards achieving sustainability in various aspects.

Our very own Shamiso P. Nyajeka Mahohoma, Ph.D. Head of the Department of Management and a lecturer of Tourism Management, delivered a talk on “Unlocking the Power of Events: A Strategic Approach to Sustainable Destination Development”  last November 23, 2023.

This collaboration may lead to the exchange of ideas, research collaborations, and networking opportunities with experts and professionals in the field of sustainability. Through this joint effort, KITians can showcase their expertise and research findings, enhancing their reputation and visibility in the academic community.
